First time with 36Soma?

Joining a new crew always raises a pile of questions. Where do I leave my keys and phone? What if I'm the slowest? What gear do I need? Do I have to register somewhere?

We want your first session to feel relaxed, so here's everything up front. No club bureaucracy, no membership fee, no secret protocols. A step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Pick a Tuesday

We train three times a week, but Tuesday at 8 PM is our day for new people — everything about it is set up for first-timers. Send us a short message on Instagram, WhatsApp, or Strava — "Hi crew, I'd like to come on Tuesday" — so we know to expect you. Show up without messaging? Also fine.

Step 2: Where we meet and where your stuff goes

Our base is City Terrace in Kraljevo. We gather about fifteen minutes before eight. You'll spot us by the club shirts and the loud laughter.

Newcomers almost always ask the same thing: what about my jacket and phone? You don't run with a backpack or keys jingling in your pocket — on the route you wear only what you need to run. We have a club room right beside the Terrace where everyone leaves their things before the start. Same routine every Tuesday; if it's your first time, just tell the crew and someone will walk you over to drop off your jacket. After the run you grab your stuff and join the group — that's when the real hangout starts.

36Soma Runners — the crew on the track

Step 3: Choose your group

After the warm-up (yes, the warm-up is not optional!), the crew splits into two groups:

Beginners: If you're new to running or coming back after a long break, this is your zone. We mix an easy jog with walking (run-walk). No forcing the pace — we adapt to you, and an experienced runner always stays with you to keep your mind off the tiredness. No fear of being left alone at the back.

Experienced: If you already have kilometres in your legs and want a harder session — longer segments, intervals, or a faster city loop, depending on the week's plan.

Step 4: The finish and the third half

When the watches beep and the stretching is done, training isn't really over. Then comes the part we love most — the hangout. Coffee, tea, or something cold while we talk the run over. You'll see we're just a bunch of positive people from Kraljevo who decided to mix healthy living with good banter.

All you need for your first Tuesday: regular running shoes, comfortable kit, and a bit of good will. Leave the excuses at home — the crew will be waiting. See you Tuesday!
